Video.

Whether it’s filming the celebration of the Suffragists walking from Land’s end to St Just or documenting the positive impact dance has on young peoples mental health, my focus is to celebrate people in a sensitive and un-intrusive manor; as if I were a fly on the wall.
I keep my equipment minimal, to keep the interaction between myself and the subject authentic and to create a film that is raw and heart felt. I have a brilliant team of sound engineers, that I work with, giving you the best high quality sound to accompany your film.
Filmmaking allows me to be a visual storyteller, weaving images, sound, and animation together to convey a message or evoke a specific emotion.

Animation.

Animation - a magical realm where imagination reigns supreme. Animation can be used to illustrate complex ideas, such as climate change or to create a certain feeling to accompany a song.
My style utilises traditional and DIY techniques to create animations that are full of energy and give a sense of the human hand behind it. Whether it’s a music video for your latest single or a documentary film that needs animation to help explain something in an engaging way, I'd love to collaborate!

Projections.

In the midst of the vibrant counterculture movement of the 1960s, a mesmerizing display of creativity and self-expression emerged: psychedelic oil projections. This otherworldly spectacle is achieved through the use of overhead projectors and a concoction of oil and liquid dyes.
For my projections, I take inspiration from this movement and incorporate other elements such as: animated Phenakistascopes, archival footage, and pre made animations that I have created using printmaking, collage and paint. It's the perfect thing to spice up a live gig or event!

The vibrant colours of the oils, from electric blues to fiery reds, sprawl across the walls, blending and merging in an ever-changing symphony of hues. The liquid dyes swirl and cascad, forming undulating shapes that pulse to the rhythm of the music, creating an all-encompassing multi-sensory experience. As well as performing at festivals and with musicians, oil projections can be a deeply relaxing experience and sensory experience. I have used the projections in collaboration with children and adults with additional needs.

Photography.

As I navigate the world with my camera in hand, I become acutely aware of the minutiae that often go unnoticed. I am encouraged to slow down, to observe, and to appreciate the subtleties of life. Photography forces me to be present in the moment, to engage all my senses, and to truly connect with my surroundings. It is in these moments of deep connection that I find a profound sense of fulfilment and purpose. I often use medium format or 35mm Analogue cameras to further slow down the process and to create images that hold even more sentimental value.
I take photos because they serve as personal time capsules, preserving memories and moments that are fleeting by nature. In the grand symphony of time, capturing these moments becomes a means of immortalising and cherishing them. Looking back at photographs of celebrations, travels, or even mundane days allows me to travel back and I have a strong desire to preserve these special moments for others too.
