Sensory Drawing Workshop

In collaboration with fellow artists Maya Ronchetti, Eve Diveney- Clegg and Oliver Parrish, we run sensory drawing workshops using ‘paint’ made from natural materials such as: Tumeric, Beetroot, Red cabbage and other foraged goods.

Participants are encouraged to get messy and enjoy the sensory experience of playing with the brightly coloured gloop. We also create charcoal from willow we’ve picked, stripped and burnt. The floor is laid with rowed of paper and sheets are suspended to create a giant playground of canvas. There are no brushes provided in this workshop, people are encourage to create experimental methods of mark making with twigs, foliage and other natural materials to hand.
